Takita, who has served as township manager since replacing former manager Peter Gray in 2020, will continue in his position until a new manager is appointed.
After a new township manager is hired, officials said Takita will return to his primary roles as the chief code enforcement officer and zoning officer for the township, a position he has held alongside his managerial duties.
Takita previously worked for 24 years at the Bensalem Township’s building and planning department before joining Falls Township in 2019.
