“We are beyond excited to welcome Natasha Bedingfield to our prom this year,” said Reggie Meadows, principal of Pennsbury High School. “Her engaging stage presence and uplifting music will surely add an extraordinary touch to the festivities. This event is not just a prom; it’s a celebration of our students’ hard work and achievements, and having such a talented artist join us makes it even more special.”
Pennsbury’s prom is known for its high-profile performers, including John Mayer, The Sugar Hill Gang, DJ Pauly D, DJ James Kennedy, and Questlove.
This year’s prom theme is “Enchanted Environments,” which will transform the high school’s East Campus.

Bedingfield marks the first female artist for the event.
Dubbed the “Best Prom in America” by Reader’s Digest, the event showcases the creativity and dedication of the Pennsbury community, including students, staff, and parents. Unlike most schools, Pennsbury transforms its facility into a themed wonderland.
The school holds the Guinness World Record for the most lipstick kiss prints on a mural, a feat accomplished in 2019 under the theme “Prom to the Music.” This community-driven project spelled out “Rock Music” with 41,692 lipstick kisses.

As part of the festivities and in line with Pennsbury’s Sustainability Management Plan, attendees will receive a reusable water tumbler courtesy of Wegmans Food Markets in Lower Makefield Township. The tumblers are designed to be a memorable keepsake from the prom.
While the prom is an exclusive event for students, the public is invited to explore the school’s elaborate decorations at Pennsbury High School East at 705 Hood Boulevard from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 1. The public events will conclude with the Prom Arrival Parade at 5 p.m.
Bedingfield will play a show in Pittsburgh on Friday before coming to Pennsbury High School on Saturday.
