Langhorne Borough has launched a photography program to celebrate the adoption of its new motto, “Where History & Community Meet.”

The municipality seeks to capture the essence of Langhorne Borough through the lenses of its residents.
Following the recent announcement of the contest’s winner, Shaun Pall, for his entry for the borough’s new motto, Langhorne Borough officials are looking to keep the community spirit alive with the new photo initiative.
Residents are encouraged to submit photos that represent the borough’s beauty and uniqueness. Everyone from amateurs to professional photographers are encouraged to take part.

Suggested themes for submissions include local architecture, aerial views, nature scenes, borough landmarks, community events, and daily activities within Langhorne.
Participants are allowed to send up to six photographs per month through January 2025, with distinct calls for spring and summer photos followed by fall and winter scenes.

While the contest welcomes pictures taken at any time, all photographs must be original and captured within the boundaries of Langhorne Borough.
Photographs submitted for the contest may find a place on the borough’s website and could be featured in social media posts, with full credit given to the photographers.
Submission Guidelines:
Submissions are open to all residents of and visitors to Langhorne Borough.
Each participant may submit one email per month with a maximum of six photographs.
Photos must be original and taken within Langhorne Borough.
Photos do not have to be taken recently.
Participants must agree to allow Langhorne Borough to use their photographs for promotional purposes (with appropriate credit given to the photographer).
Photos may be submitted via email each month from May 2024 through January 2025. There will be a call for Spring and Summer photos and a call for Fall and Winter photos.

Please include your name and contact information for each submission.
