The students collected $46,842.02 for pediatric cancer research and support. The money will benefit the Four Diamonds, a foundation dedicated to funding pediatric cancer research and aiding young cancer patients and their families.
The funds were raised during the school’s annual MiniTHON event on Friday, February 9.

This year’s total surpasses the $27,697.85 raised last year.

Over the past decade, Neshaminy MiniTHON has contributed approximately $150,000 to the cause.
Neshaminy MiniTHON mirrors the highly successful THON event at Penn State University, which has raised millions of dollars for pediatric cancer since its inception in the 1970s.

One of the highlights of the day was the moment when Principal Stephen Garstka agreed to a pie in the face if students met their fundraising goal.

Leading the charge for this year’s record-breaking event were Brynn Galloway and Allie Karpovich, who served as the executive directors of the MiniTHON.
