
A driver had to be freed from their vehicle after a crash that turned one vehicle onto its side.

The collision between a Nissan and Subaru occurred just past 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday in Middletown Township.
The Middletown Township Department of Fire and Emergency Services, Parkland Fire Company, and Lower Southmapton Fire Company, arrived on the scene to find an entrapped driver, officials said.
The crews quickly stabilized the vehicle and initiated a rescue operation to free the trapped woman, officials said.

The woman was safely extricated from the vehicle by firefighters.

Following the rescue, the Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad transported her to a local hospital for further medical attention, but the injuries appeared non-life-threatening, officials said.

“We wish her a fast recovery,” stated officials.
Due to the crash, Brownsville Road was temporarily blocked near the crash site as emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
