Lawnmower At School Catches Fire

A ground crew member at Maple Point Middle School received a surprise Monday when the lawnmower they were on burst into flames.

The incident happened Monday afternoon outside the school along Langhorne-Yardley Road in Middletown Township.

Firefighters from the Middletown Township Department of Fire and Emergency Management quickly put out the riding mower that was ablaze, officials said.

No injuries were reported.
