Starting this week, PA CareerLink Bucks County moved from an office along Veterans Highway (Route 413) in Bristol Township to a newly-renovated leased location at the Bucks County Technology Park at 4800 East Street Road Suite 50 in Bensalem Township.

The facility was moved to provide a more convenient location for job seekers – ranging from youth to adults – as they find new opportunities, coaching, and training. Officials said the new location is in the area of two SEPTA bus stops, SEPTA’s Trenton Regional Rail Line, I-95, the Pennsylvania Turnpike, and Route 1.

PA CareerLink Bucks County had been located in Bristol Township for more than 20 years.

Last month, the Bucks County Commissioners approved the $391,730 purchase and outfitting of a van for PA CareerLink Bucks. The Bucks County Workforce and Economic Development Department and PA CareerLink Bucks County will be able to take the “Workforce On Wheels” van across the county, including to areas far from the new Bensalem Township facility.

Bucks County COO Margie McKevitt recently said the van will expand the reach of the group and help those seeking work.

The van is being paid for through American Recovery Act Plan funds.
