The Bucks County Board of Elections recently approved a change of polling precinct locations in Bristol Borough.

At their meeting earlier this month, the board approved moving three polling precincts from the Bristol Borough Area Activity Adult Center on Wood Street to Snyder-Girotti Elementary School on Beaver Street.

The change is for Bristol Borough West 1, Bristol Borough West 2, and Bristol Borough West 3. Voters in those precincts will begin using the new polling place starting with the Tuesday, May 17 primary election.

The school is just a one minute walk from the senior center, less than a quarter mile.

Election officials said the change in polling place was due to the elementary school being better suited for voting.

The Bucks County Board of Elections works to use publicly-owned facilities for voting whenever possible.

The borough’s other polling places won’t change.
