A contingent of local and federal law enforcement officers from both sides of the Delaware River descended on Bristol Township Friday morning.
Just past 10:30 a.m., members of the U.S. Marshals Service from Pennsylvania and New Jersey and Bristol Township police officers arrested 21-year-old Sayid Abduhl Saunders, a township resident. The wanted man was arrested in the 600 block of Veterans Highway (Route 413), according to police and a deputy marshal.

Saunders was wanted for an alleged robbery that happened in Trenton recently, Bristol Township police Lt. Ralph Johnson said.
Saunders surrendered without incident.
Bristol Township’s animal control officer responded due a dog that may have been on site, but no problem occurred, Supervisor Deputy U.S Marshal Rob Clark told LevittownNow.com.

Saunders was arraigned before District Judge Frank Peranteau on a fugitive of justice warrant. He was sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility unable to post bail. He will await a hearing on extradition to New Jersey.
