“Our water and wastewater plant experienced power outages. Although there is a back up generator that does come on, the quick disturbance does shut everything down.  That disturbance has caused low/no pressure and/or a slight discoloration in the system. We apologize for the inconvenience,” the Lower Buck County Joint Municipal Authority said in a statement on their website.

Numerous LevittownNow.com readers reported problems with pressure and water color throughout the day.

The power outages caused mainly short disruptions that appeared to impact customers in Bristol Township’s Levittown section and Bristol Borough.
