SUV At Fault For Tuesday Evening Motorcycle Crash, Cops Say

An SUV was to blame for a motorcycle crash in the Morrisville section of Falls Township.

Police said the an investigation revealed the driver of a silver GMC Terrain SUV made a left turn “without obtaining full clearance” from West Trenton Avenue onto Pine Grove Road Tuesday around 7:15 p.m., causing a motorcyclist on a red Kawasawki to hit the SUV.

The motorcyclist suffered a severe compound fracture to his left leg and was transported to Capital Regional Medical Center in Trenton, while the SUV driver was treated to St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown for minor head and neck injuries, police said.

The motorcyclist was found not to be speeding, police said.
