Tullytown Man Hired As Newest Middletown Cop

A Tullytown resident has been hired as Middletown’s new patrol officer.

Dan Heyduk, 21, was sworn in by the Board of Supervisors with a large contingent of family and friends in attendance earlier this week. He is completing training at the Montgomery County Community College Municipal Police Academy and then will hit the streets after completing his schooling in December.

Heyduk, according to police Chief Joseph Bartorilla, has worked for the department as a community service officer since 2017.

The township’s newest officer graduated from Bucks County Technical High School and earned an associate degree from Bucks County Community College.
