A 15-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by a 44-year-old Tullytown man, according to police.
Police said they were called last Friday to the Creek Village Apartments off Falls-Tullytown Road around 6:50 p.m. for a reported rape. The 15-year-old girl told them she was sexually assaulted by a friend’s stepfather in the complex after he lured her over.

According to court papers, the girl said James Marshall, who has served as a volunteer firefighter with Levittown Fire Company No. 1, contacted the girl through Snapchat earlier in the day and invited her over to help pick out a gift for his stepdaughter. At the apartment, he ended up touching the teen inappropriately and performing sex acts on her.
On Monday, Marshall spoke with Tullytown investigators and said “I need to come clean.” He detailed that the girl came over his apartment and he sexually assaulted her, court papers detailed.
Levittown Fire Company No. 1 declined to comment on the firefighter’s arrest.

“The arrest and actions of James Marshall in no way reflect upon the core principles and values of any emergency service agency which he is affiliated with. We decline further comment on matters pending court,” Tullytown police Chief Daniel Doyle said.
Marshall was charged with involuntary deviant sexual intercourse on a person less than 16 years of age, statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault on a complainant less than 16, and corruption of minors. He was arraigned by District Judge Robert Wagner Jr. and sent to the county prison on 10 percent of $250,000.
