Falls Township has awarded a contract to Jones Engineering Associates to the tune of $294,500 for work related to the road program.

For 2019, Falls Township plans to carry out full depth reconstruction of five township roads in the Hedgerow Woods section of Falls, including Fletcher Drive, Rice Drive, Lions Drive, Simons Drive, and Gilbert Drive. In addition, a portion of Elbow Lane between Stony Hill Road and the Falls Township boundary has been designated for mill and overlay improvements.
Falls Township-based Jones Engineering Associates will prepare the design, bid and construction documents for the road program improvement project and would also prepare the project specification, bid schedules, advertisements, and attend pre-bid meetings.
Jones Engineering Associates also plans to obtain professional surveying and base mapping services and perform a PA One-Call for all available information related to the various underground utilities that could be present in the work zone.
