Family Festival Pushed, But Que For The Troops Still On

The forecast has forced organizers to push the Family Festival planned for Falls Township Community Park to Saturday, June 16.

The scheduled Que for the Troops and BBQ competition will still take place at the park this Friday and Saturday.

The Family Festival will include, games, rides, kids activities, local vendors, a car show, DJ, and evening fireworks. The festivities run on June 16 from noon until 9:30 p.m.

Que for the Troops has raised $85,000 for the Liberty USO since 2010. It will involve up to 75 BBQ competing in the Kansas City Barbecue Society sanctioned Que for the Troops BBQ event.
