Before coming to Lower Bucks Hospital, which is owned by California-based Prime Healthcare, Lorah worked at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, St. Christopher’s Children’s Hospital and was an EMT in Washington D.C. She has also worked in New Jersey and California.
“I am thrilled to be a part of this community and hospital,” Lorah said this week.
The people, physicians, board and public have all been wonderful, she added.

“Our goal as a leadership team is to focus on high quality services to patients and creating an environment where physicians, employees, board members and our volunteers feel appreciated,” Lorah said in an email following the meeting.

“I have truly enjoyed the first three weeks at Lower Bucks Hospital. There is a warmth and energy as you walk into the facility. As I am rounding in the morning, I am learning the names and faces of the great people caring for this community,” Lorah said.

In addition to working to learn about the community, Lorah heralded the warmth and welcoming spirit with which she has been received.
Lorah lives in South Philadelphia with her family.
