Double lane closures are scheduled for southbound I-95 between Veterans Highway (Route 413) and Street Road on Monday, April 2 through Friday, April 6 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The closures, according to PennDOT, are related to bridge deck repair and patching operations as part of a project to repair and resurface 13 miles of I-95 in Bensalem, Bristol, Middletown and Lower Makefield townships.
Under the improvement project, PennDOT is milling, overlaying and rehabilitating existing pavement; performing base repairs; installing new guide rail; repairing or replacing damaged traffic signs; performing minor bridge deck repairs; and installing rumble strips and delineators along the I-95 corridor in Bucks County. The entire project is scheduled to be completed in the fall.
James J. Anderson Construction Company Inc. of Philadelphia is the general contractor on the $29,633,134 project, which is financed with 80 percent federal and 20 percent state funds.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling on southbound I-95 in the work area because backups and delays will occur. The contractor’s schedule is weather dependent.
