The 17th annual Bristol Township Holiday Parade is set for this Saturday and will include a big change.
The annual seasonal parade has a reversed route from previous years. It will kick off at the Ben Franklin School at 6403 Mill Creek Road and run towards its endpoint at Brookwood Elementary School at 2200 Haines Road. Previously, the parade started at Brookwood and ended at Franklin.

The parade kicks off promptly at noon on Saturday, but spectators are encouraged to begin lining up at about 11 a.m., officials said.
“Everyone in the Bristol community knows that the holiday season does not begin until the township has its annual parade and it is
a great family event to get you in the spirit of the season,” said Township Manager Bill McCauley.
Like previous years, many recognizable groups and organizations will be taking part in the parade. Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick, the Bristol Township Council, the Harry S. Truman High School marching band and more are expected to be in attendance. Santa will close out the parade and his elves will make their way along the parade route collecting the community’s wish lists. Letters with a return address will receive a response from Santa.
