At their council meeting earlier this month, Bristol Borough’s governing body approved revisions to the mixed-use development along the Delaware River waterfront.

Work on the condominiums, which began in 2015, is now set to include the adjacent property, the former site of William G. Major Associates on Mill Street.

According to Gilmore and Associates, the borough’s engineering firm, the developer is proposing a renovation of the first floor of the Major property in order to expand the proposed restaurant which would sit on the first floor of the adjacent properties.

The revision also includes changing four residential apartments into two condominiums on the second floor. The renovation plans also include an outside deck which would provide an al fresco dining area for the first-floor restaurant. The land parcels will be consolidated and the buildings will be connected with a glass walkway, according to borough solicitor William Salerno.

The original plansย for the complex, which took the place of the deteriorating Stocks Building, includesย five condos, five townhomes and the restaurant, developer Joe Ventresca told LevittownNow.com in 2015.

The restaurant will join the King George II Inn offering outdoor dining along the Delaware.
