While Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton didn’t win the national election, she scored the majority of her wins in Bucks County around the Levittown area.

Clinton pulled in her highest local winning percentage in the area in Bristol Borough, a Democratic stronghold in the county. The former secretary of state pulled in 2,892 votes compared to Republican President-Elect Donald Trump’s 1,694 votes.

The only two Levittown area towns Trump won were the tiny borough’s of Hulmeville and Langhorne Manor.
Overall, Clinton won Bucks County by only 1,988 votes.
The Clinton campaign was confident they would win Bucks County and the entire state. However, while Clinton did best Trump in Bucks County, she could not win the entire state.

In 2012, President Barack Obama beat Mitt Romney by only 1 percent in Bucks County.
