Kenneth Gerard Williams Jr., 34, was charged Thursday evening withย drug and traffic related offenses. He was remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10 percent of $250,000 bail.
According to court papers,ย Williams was operating a gold Cadillac near theย First Baptist Church on Emilie Road in Bristol Township when they observed him not stop at a red light and instead accelerate into oncoming traffic, nearly hitting two vehicles that had the right of way. Williams then continued down Emilie Road as police say he put his left hand out of the driver’s side window and emptied a white powdery substance from a plastic bag before dropping the plastic bag altogether.
Police noted in court documents that Williams continued operating the vehicle at a high rate of speed, disregarding the traffic signal at Emilie Road and New Falls Road, before driving down New Falls Road and emptying the contents of three more plastic bags, which police say contained a white powdery substance.

A probable cause affidavit states that Williams nearly lost control of his vehicle at the intersection of New Falls Road and Penn Valley Road, before regaining control and making an abrupt right turn onto Penn Valley Road, nearly striking two vehicles. Williams passed vehicles in his lane by driving into oncoming traffic down Penn Valley Road before losing control around a curve and striking a curb at the Manor Elementary School in Falls.
Williams was taken into custody by officers at gunpoint. Police said he complied with their commands.

The crash, according to court documents, left the vehicle completely disabled.
Williams, according to police, was found with $1,556.20 in cash and five clear empty plastic sandwich bags in his right rear pocket. Williams’ vehicle was searched by county detectives and a plastic bag of suspected cocaine was found inside.

Bucks County Detectives and Drug Enforcement Administration special agents uncovered a torn plastic baggie at Emilie and Gardenia roads, several chunks of suspected cocaine near the Levittown Post Office and several pieces of suspected cocaine near the Papa John’s on New Falls Road, all of which are suspected by police to have been dropped during Williams’ chase.
