Farm-to-table advocate and TV show host Ian Knauer will be part of the Bucks County Foodshed Alliance’s first meeting of 2016.
The host of PBS’s “The Farm” will be joining the Bucks County Foodshed Alliance’s meeting Wednesday, January 6 at 6 p.m. at the George School Meetinghouse at 1690 Langhorne-Newtown Road in Middletown.

The January event will feature a potluck dinner and a local foods cooking demonstration with Knauer, who operates the The Farm Cooking School, at Tullamore Farm in Stockton, New Jersey. The cook and TV host is known for teaching food prep from “butchery to baking, cheese-making to preserving—and everything in between.” Knauer also hunts, fishes and forages for ingredients for his meals.
Knauer’s cooking demo begins after the Bucks County Foodshed Alliance’s business meeting and potluck. Attendees are asked to a main, side, dessert or beverages to share and your own eating utensils. Locally sourced ingredients are encouraged.
The event is free but a donation is suggested.
