Bucks County officials announced recently that they are holding two collection events for old electronics in November.

The free collection events will allow residents to recycle computers and many other household electronics, some of which contain hazardous materials like mercury and zinc.

The collection events, which are always heavily attended, are important because improperly disposing of many types of e-waste by putting them in the regular trash is illegal.

Here’s the information on the two upcoming events:

Saturday, November 7ย from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Quakertown Community Pool
300 Mill Street
Quakertown, PA 18951

Saturday, November 21 from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. (Note Hours)
