Residents who have business to complete at the Bristol Township Municipal Building now have a bit more time to do so.
Officials announced recently that township’s office hours have been extended Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.

The new hours took effect on October 12 and are the result of anew labor agreement with the union that represents township office workers. The agreement gives “workers a four percent pay raise in exchange for greater employee healthcare contributions and an extended work schedule,” according to a township press release.
Township Manager Bill McCauley said in a statement that he appreciates the union agreeing to the new deal that will help township residents.
Bowen said the increase in hours is part of the council’s effort to make local government more “customer friendly.”
