The 10th annual Doo-Wop in the Park concert will be taking place Saturday along the Bristol Borough waterfront.
The free Bristol Borough Council-backed concert will feature music performed by The Legendary Teenagers, Emil Stucchio, The Capris, Joel Katz and The Chiclettes. The show kicks off at 4 p.m. in the Mill Street parking lot.

“When we started this, this was a little Bristol Borough thing,” Council President Ralph DiGuiseppe recalled. In the years since, the concert has grown and now draws up to 10,000 people.
At Monday’s council meeting, State Sen. Tommy Tomlinson and Ron Davis of Parx Casino presented a $10,000 from the Bensalem casino to help fund this year’s Doo-Wop concert.
Concert-goers are encouraged to bring lawn chair and blankets. Remember: the annual Doo-Wop concert is normally packed and the early birds get the best seats.
