According to township administrators, the buildings, which have been neglected for years, have been in dire need of integral improvements.
Work on the municipal building will include a new sally port, a new roof, an updated HVAC system and what township officials have called “extensiveย rehabilitation to [a] 67-year-old building.” The public works facility will receive new barn to house equipment and vehicles, drainage improvements and paving of the yard.
Over the past several years, the township has updated parts of the building and other facilities.
