This year, a chicken wing eating competition and a mechanical bull are being added, according to township supervisor and organizer Jeff Dence. In addition to being a great skills competition, Que for the Troops raises funds for the Liberty USO.
“This is going ย to be our biggest event ever, it’s going to be a great event,” Dence said.
The competition is sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbecue Society. This year, more than $8,000 in prize dollars are up for grabs.
