Three charges against two men accused of attacking a high school student in Langhorne Borough were dropped but 13 more were forwarded to trial last week at a preliminary hearing.
Jason William Steere, 44, of Levittown, and Brian Jason Steere, 44, of Bensalem, are accused of attacking a Neshaminy High School student along Pine Street just before midnight on February 7. A third male, a high school-aged juvenile, was charged as a minor.

The two adults will face trial on charges including aggravated assault, simple assault, corruption of minor and reckless endangerment, according to court records. Charges of robbery, theft and receiving stolen property were dismissed.
Before District Judge Daniel Baranoski, the student who was allegedly attacked, said he was walking with two friends going to the Langhorne 7-Eleven when a vehicle rolled up and the three accused attackers jumped out.
The driver – identified as Jason Steere – got out of the vehicle and took off his leather jacket, the teen testified.

“Lets go, old man,” he said to the 44 year old.
Both Steeres attacked the teen and the other juvenile joined in, according to testimony. The teen added the boy that was around his age held him in a “full nelson” during the alleged altercation.

During testimony, the teen said one of the alleged attackers stepped on his glasses toward the end of the alleged assault.
A defense attorney tried asking the teen during cross examination if he was trying to arrange a fight with the men or if he had thrown a rock through their window but the judge overruled both questions.
State police noted in court papers that the victim was treated at St. Mary Medical Center for a broken nose and concussion.

Jason and Brian Steere are free on $25,000 unsecured bail.
