According to the victim, the man who stabbed him, identified as Bellettiere,ย had fled after the incident. While en route to the scene, a call came in from Belletiere. While he would not give his location to police, he stated he had been assaulted by a friend he claimed was intoxicated.
When officers arrived at the scene, they observed the victim, whose left arm of his hoodie appeared to be wet with blood. “He started to roll up his sleeve and blood started to drip out,” police wrote in a probable cause affidavit.
