
Forecasters are warning of a flash freeze that could take place Monday afternoon and evening.
Following overnight snow and rain, forecasters at the National Weather Service in Mount Holly warned “sharply colder air will surge back across the region” and cause wet roadways and sidewalks to become icy very quickly. Along with the drop in temperatures, wind gusts of up to 45 MPH can be expected.

“This evening’s commute will be adversely affected by this quick refreezing,” according to weather service briefing package.
Lower Bucks County saw rain switch back to frozen precipitation around midday Monday.
A winter storm advisory wax expected to remain in effect through Monday evening.
