Langhorne Carpet Company, known within the interior design community as the “House of Jacquards” for its ‘museum quality’ Wilton wool carpets, will soon have some of its work featured in the upcoming season of the Netflix original series “House of Cards”.
The president of Penndel-based Langhorne Carpet Company, Bill Morrow said the company is honored to play a cameo in the award-winning dramatic series. The company’s re-created woven blue and gold carpet border was according to Morrow, “exactly what the set decorator Tiffany Zappulla was looking for.”

Langhorne Carpet is no stranger to the notoriety that’s come with its work. The weaver has woven carpets for numerous historic residences including the White House, its carpet also appears in the film “Lincoln” and in homes owned by numerous celebrities like Michael Jackson. The company recently hosted Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick (R-8) who was able to observe the special weaving of what will become to carpet used in the “House of Cards”.
“In the quintessential Bucks County borough of Penndel, Langhorne Carpet has operated its mill for nearly 90 years. We all are so proud of our treasure of a living-history carpet mill appearing on such a grand stage,” said Fitzpatrick.

Langhorne Carpet Company, founded in 1930, is the longest continuously operated Jacquard Wilton carpet mill in the country. The company’s success is attributed to exceptional craftsmanship that produces original designs and reproductions featuring intricate textures and patterns from traditional to contemporary.
