A contractor working to decommission a former waste water building at the Waste Management property in Falls Township accidentally sparked a fire Tuesday morning.
Fire Marshal Rich Dippolito told LevittownNow.com no one was injured and the damaged was contained to an oversized chimney formerly used in the water treatment process.

The contractor was cutting away a grate that held back plastic balls used in the treatment process when a spark caught the material on fire around 8:30 a.m., Dippolito said. The fire has been ruled accidental.
Firefighters from several companies rushed to the building on Pennsbury Road and quickly contained the flames, the fire marshal said.
The water treatment building in being decommissioned after it was replaced by a new treatment center recently.
