‘Hero’ Sighting Brings Tough Week into Focus

Chris Rohem became somewhat of a household name in the Levittown area and “hero” for his selfless acts in helping a young man out of a crashed vehicle on New Falls Road just past Five Points last May

The vehicle Rohem said last June was tumbling in front of him and the then-football player reacted.

On Wednesday, Rohem was reacting a different way as we crosses paths for the first time since then.

Rohem and a crew of others were working  on a building at the corner of Bath and Pond streets in Bristol Borough.

None of his hammering co-workers knew of Rohem’s efforts that May evening and teased him about it.

“He’s just a humble guy,” said a close friend of his last year.
