The Radcliffe Learning Center in Bristol Borough could be getting a new look and more space in the near future.
The plan, proposed to the Bristol Borough Council Monday by a civil engineer for the child education center, would add 880 square feet of floor space to the building on Radcliffe Street.

The current request to the council is for a waiver of land development request. The request would allow the planning steps of the project to take place.
During the course of the meeting, the project was described as being small and non-residential. No alterations would occur to the front of the building facing Radcliffe street.
Christine Deluca, of Radcliffe Street Learning, described the project as important, “[We’re] trying to make room to breath.”

The expansion would only allow for the entrance of seven or eight new children, Deluca also explained that Radcliffe Street Learning “received a grant allowing for seven or eight Borough students to attend for free.”
The approval is set to be voted on next Monday, August 11, along with changing parking ticket prices and possible new crossing guards.
