The man accused of escaping a prison work detail and subsequently stabbed a Bensalem Police officer last week is now on the radar of the Philadelphia Police Department, sources told LevittownNow.com.
Matthew Miller, 21, according to police sources, will be at some point in the very near future coming face- to-face ย with homicide detectives in connection to their investigation of homicide of Joseph Britton of Levittown, who was battered to death last fall in Philadelphia.

Officially, Philadelphia police officials told LevittowNow.com that Miller is not a formal subject at this time as part of the investigation which has yielded two arrests to date in the killing of the Levittown man.
In April Krista McDevitt, 24, of Bristol, and Ian Pawlowic, 21, of Philadelphia ย allegedly confessed to their roles in the beating death of Britton and were charged with Britton’s death.
Donna Palmer, Britton’s mother is convinced Miller had something to do with her son’s death and feels Miller’s current charges of ย stabbing the Bensalem officer will impede Miller ever having to face investigators or charges if they are warranted.

Palmer ย thinks it will come with the arrest of Miller for his alleged role in Britton’s in the battering death of her son.
As Palmer has said before, its not something any mother can fix, but can only hope for some sense of closure on.
Still yet, Miller sits in Bucks County jail, as Britton ย is not here to share fathers day with his daughter.

And as far as Palmer and many others are concerned, there will be no beginning to the healing process “until justice is done,” they have said.
