A two -car, head-on collision lead to four people being inured and shut down Veterans Highway on the Pennsylvania side of the Burlington- Bristol Bridge Saturday morning. as “driver error” was the cause, Bristol Township police said.

Three ย people were ย in one vehicle and one in the other, said authorities, with two victims of the collision having to be extricated by first responders from Lower Bucks and the Burlington City Fire Company.
“Significant injuries were suffered by all four ย but nothing ย life threatening,” ย said Sgt. Michael Sharp.

The vehicles, according to police, were coming from opposite directions when one ย crossed the center line causing the wreck around 9:40 a.m.

Veterans Highway was closed down for approximately two hours as a result of the accident.
Sharp said there were no signs of intoxicants or substances playing a role in the accident, however the investigation is ongoing. Authorities said the injure were transferred to Aria Health, Torresdale campus, in Philadelphia.
