Communities will come together throughout the country on Saturday to march against the epidemic of child abuse in the ย 2nd Annual March Against Child Abuse
According to Children Without a Voice USA (CWAV,) there ย are nearly 3 million reported ย child abuse cases each year.ย However, experts believe the actual number is closer to 9 million as most go unreported. At a recent Washington DC congressional hearing, experts testified they believe over 10 children die each day in the U.S. as a result of child abuse, 4 times as many as the loss of life in the war on terror.ย One out of 6 boys and 1 out of 4 girls will be sexually molested by a close and trusted person before the age of 18.

We are asking everyone to join us in the streets on April 5, 2014,โ Director Lin Seahorn, said
