โ€œOpening my office for this food drive allows other families, especially those who do not have school-aged children, to participate,โ€ Galloway said. โ€œI know from previous experience, our community always supports those less fortunate and I would like to thank everyone for their help.โ€

The food drive is looking for a variety of canned and dry items, such as cereal, pasta, soup, rice, powdered milk, canned fruit, peanut butter and jelly.

Galloway said his office also has information about programs to help children and families, including the Childrenโ€™s Health Insurance Program and the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program, among others.
