United Way of Bucks County CEO Jamie Haddon stood outside the nonprofit’s Hood Boulevard headquarters in Falls Township around lunchtime on Tuesday wearing bunny ears, stuffing his mouth with marshmallows and attempting several times to say, “I’m a fluffy bunny.”
The silly afternoon activity was recorded by Vice President of Marketing and Communications Marissa Christie. From there, the video was uploaded to a private YouTube channel. Donors pledged money and were sent the link to video of Haddon, who has lead the county United Way for about two years, perform just under a dozen light-hearted stunts.

From filling his mouth with powered cinnamon, which dries your mouth and makes it hard to breath, to eating spicy wasabi, the activities were all in an effort to raise $2,000 for the national #GivingTuesday effort, which Haddon explained was a way to donate following the massive amount of spending that happens of Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Haddon said for #GivingTuesday the local United Way staff had designed several fundraisers for their office, including the day of challenges.
“We wanted to do something in the spirit of having fun,” he said. “Last year I washed cars and fire trucks on the coldest day in December; this year I do 10 almost impossible challenges.”
