A 18-year-old is dealing with serious injuries after his 16-year-old friend is alleged to have stabbed him several places just before midnight on Wednesday.
Demetrius Shivers, 16, of Green Lane in Bristol Township’s Levittown section, is charged with two counts of felony aggravated assault, three counts of simple assault, recklessly endangering anther person and possessing an instrument of crime. Court documents show the 16-year-old has been charged as an adult.

Police responded late Wednesday night to the area of the Days Inn Motel on Green Lane after a caller alerted them that a bloody man ran out of the woods.
Officers arrived and found the 18-year-old victim. Emergency medics discovered the young man suffered two stab wounds to his should and that he was stabbed in the right eye once. Court documents show that the man lost his right eye as a result of the stabbing.
Authorities say the an altercation took place at Norton Avenue and Beaver Dam Road. A large amount of blood was reported on the ground at the scene. A blood trail extended about a half a mile.

A homemade knife was discovered in the area of the stabbing, police said.
The 18-year-old victim said he and Shivers had just went across the busy Turnpike and were at a cut through near Beaver Dam Road when the attack began, a police criminal complaint shows.

Emergency medical personnel transported the 18-year-old to Aria Torresdale Hospital’s trauma center in Philadelphia.
Investigators later found Shivers at his apartment in the Crown Square complex on Green Lane. He was taken to police headquarters and admitted to the assault and stabbing.
Falls District Judge Jan Vislosky arraigned Shivers Thursday on the charges and sent him to county jail on 10 percent of $150,000 bail.
