The suspect beat after a Blue Ridge Drive resident found him inside his home committing a burglary is now facing additional charges.
Gary Kramer, 56, was charged Tuesday with possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia after a search of the van he used to get to the Blue Ridge section turned up drugs. Kramer is already facing charges of burglary, theft, receiving stolen property and possessing an instrument of crime in connection with the alleged crime.

According to police, investigators executed a search warrant of the Ford work van in early August.
Kramer told police he drove the van to the neighborhood and parked it after purchasing heroin in Philadelphia.
A detective searched the van and found an eyeglass case that held drug paraphernalia, police said.

Homeowner Bob Miller told police he found suspect Gary Kramer, 56, of Bristol Township’s Levittown section, wearing a pair of black work gloves inside the home, police said. Kramer was allegedly discovered with a metal pry bar and a channel lock tool.
In the CBS 3 video, Miller said he dragged Kramer out of the house until police arrived.

In Kramer’s shorts pockets, authorities found contained several pieces of jewelry, a bag of baby powder, a 4-inch flashlight and various other household items, police said.
While in the police car on the way to the hospital, Kramer told an Bristol Township officer, “I just wanted some money and drugs,” according to court papers.
Kramer was arraigned and was sent to jail unable to post bail.
