Levittown Little Leaguer’s Win Sectional Title, Advance to State Championships

The Levittown Pacific 50/70 little league baseball team beat Lower Merion 18-14 late yesterday afternoon to win the Pennsylvania Sectional 8 title and advance for an opportunity to play for the state championship.

Jonah De’Angelo benefited from the football like run support to get the win, while also crushing a homer for the winners.

Coach Rick Farmer, sounding proud of his team, said  it was one of those back and forth offensive affairs as his homers by Ricky Palmer and Kyle Goodwin helped lead  the  offensive explosion for the team.

We were a bit short on pitching, Farmer said, but Noah Helbling was able to lock up the game for the champs with a four- inning save.

So now its off to Collier Township for the Pennsylvania State Finals with games beginning on Wednesday.
