Boat Bursts Into Flames in Levittown

A 20-foot boat was destroyed by flames Friday in Levittown.

The owner was working on his 1999 Crownline boat when there was a mechanical failure and the boat burst into flames, Bristol Township Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito said.

Firefighters responded to the fire on Ivy Hill Road in the Indian Creek section and put the flames out just before noon.

No injuries were reported, Dippolito said.

Firefighters from the Bristol Township Fire Marshal’s Office, Levittown Fire Company No. 2 and Edgely Fire Company responded to the scene.
