Verizon crews worked throughout the night ย to re-set a pole slammed into by a vehicle late yesterday afternoon on Bath Road just beyond the driveway to Lower Bucks Hospital.

Officials on scene, say they ย expect work to ย completed within in the next hour so.

Local authorities have yet to comment on the cause of the accident. Details as they come in.

A portion of Bath Road in Bristol Township is expected to be closed for several hours Thursday evening as crews work on a utility pole left hanging over the roadway following a one-vehicle crash.

According to an emergency official at the scene, a car struck a pole in front of Lower Bucks Hospital and then ended up on the grass nearby.

No one was seriously injured in the crash, the official said. They added that the road was closed in the area of the hospital.

Wires that cross Bath Road were left hanging a few feet over the roadway following the crash.
