Along with moving to a new facility, John’s Driving School and Auto Tags in Falls Township is offering driver exams.

The popular driving school and auto tag service recently moved to its new building at 957 Trenton Road. In addition, according to owner Jason P. Fidishun, the driving school is one of only a few where PennDOT has granted a license to offer driver exam testing.

โ€œWeโ€™re excited to be able to move to a state of the art, standalone location, just a stoneโ€™s throw from where we made a name for ourselves in the Fairless Hills community,โ€ said Jason P Fidishun, owner of Johnโ€™s Driving School and Auto Tags.

Fidishun said recently that the business has been busy offering driving test from residents who otherwise might have to wait weeks to get an appointment at a state-run PennDOT center.

PennDOT officials said offering the driver testing at third-party locations will give residents more options to schedule their test.

John’s Driving School and Auto Tags is the only third-party driver exam testing center in Bucks County and part of a limited pilot program conducted by PennDOT.

The idea to allow third-party businesses to conduct driver exams began in the 1900s when PennDOT began to see success and reduced wait times for commercial licenses.
