NEARBY: State Police File Warrant for Man Accused of Possessing Vicodin

Pennsylvania State Police announced they have filed a warrant for the arrest of a Philadelphia man who was stopped for a routine traffic stop in September.

James Bernard Noel III, 30, of Philadelphia, was stopped by troopers out of the Trevose barrack  just off I-95 exit 35 for driving while his license was suspended, according to police records

Authorities arranged  for  Noel’s vehicle to be towed from the scene. While do an inventory of the vehicle, an unlabeled prescription bottle  was found, authorities say.  containing 61 Oxycodone pills, police say.

State Police filed the warrant on Monday.

Noel is being charged with  possession of a controlled substance, intent to possess a controlled substance,  misbranding a prescription bottle, drug related misdemeanor offenses and the case will be handled by District Court Judge Leonarad J. Brown in Bensalem.
